Programmes
Find the right starting point
Every programme covers the syllabus and the exam technique together. Filter the full list by level, subject and format.
Subjects
All school subjects
MindSpring is open to every subject on the timetable. These are the ones families ask for most.
Why MindSpring
Why parents choose us
No league tables, no promised grades. Here is what we actually do differently.
We teach the understanding, not the answer
A student who understands why a method works can handle a question they have not seen before. That is the whole aim.
Small classes, or one-to-one
Group sizes stay small enough that every student's work is seen in every lesson. Where a student needs undivided attention, we teach one-to-one.
All subjects, primary through secondary
Languages, mathematics, sciences, humanities and commerce — across the national syllabus, IGCSE and UEC.
Parents are kept informed
Attendance, lesson topics and progress notes are visible in your own parent portal. No wondering how it is going.
Teaching in the language that works
Our teachers work in the language a student learns best in, which for many Malaysian families is not just one.
Online or in person
Choose the format that fits your week, and change it when your week changes.

Getting started
How registration works
Four steps, and none of them commit you to anything until you say so.
- 1
Tell us about your child
Fill in the registration form — level, subjects, and what is currently getting in the way. It takes a few minutes.
- 2
We talk it through
We contact you to confirm the level, discuss format and timing, and where useful suggest a short assessment.
- 3
We match a teacher and a slot
You get a proposed teacher, class format and timetable that fits around school and family.
- 4
Lessons start, and you can see them
Your parent portal shows the timetable, attendance and progress notes as they are released.
In the lesson
One teacher, one student, one thing at a time
Whether at the centre, at home or online, a MindSpring lesson looks like this: the teacher works through the actual page your child is stuck on, in the language they think in, until they can explain it back.

Formats
Learn the way that fits your week
Most families mix these. You are not locked into one.
One-to-one
Undivided attention, built entirely around one student's gaps and pace.
Small group
A small class at a similar level — more affordable, and students learn from each other's questions.
Online
Same teacher, same materials, from home. Useful when the week is tight.
In person
At the centre, on a fixed weekly slot that builds a routine.
Parent feedback
What parents say
Published only with the family's permission, and never with a child's full name.
No testimonials published yet
MindSpring is new. Rather than write testimonials we do not have, this section stays empty until real parents send feedback and agree to it being shown.
FAQ
Questions parents ask first
How do I register my child?
Use the Register Your Child form on this site. It takes a few minutes: your details, your child's details, and the subjects you are interested in. You will receive a reference number immediately, and we will contact you to talk through levels, timing and the right class format.
Which subjects do you teach?
MindSpring is open to all school subjects. Our current subject list is on the Subjects page. If the subject you need is not listed yet, contact us — we will tell you honestly whether we can cover it.
Do you support SPM, IGCSE and UEC?
Yes. We support the Malaysian national syllabus through to SPM, the IGCSE syllabus for international school students, and both Junior and Senior Middle UEC. Tell us which examination your child is sitting when you register so we match them to the right teacher.
Which school levels do you accept?
Primary school through to secondary school — Standard 1 to Form 5, plus the equivalent IGCSE and UEC levels.
Do you offer online classes as well as physical ones?
Both. Some families prefer coming in, others prefer online, and some mix the two. You can state a preference when you register and change it later.
What is the difference between one-to-one and small-group tuition?
One-to-one means the whole lesson is built around your child, at their pace, with flexible timing. Small-group means a small class of students at a similar level, which costs less and lets students learn from each other's questions. We will recommend one after we understand where your child is.
